Limited public visiting in Orange County Jails has resumed. Visiting is limited to two (2) visits for each inmate each week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday) and will be continually reassessed.
Members of the public wishing to visit an inmate must call and make an appointment at the facility the inmate is housed at currently. Select the jail facility below to review visiting information and set up an appointment to see an inmate.
In 2021, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department established a Behavioral Health Bureau focused on the mental health and well-being of those under our care and custody. In partnership with the Orange County Health Care Agency and other healthcare resources, the Sheriff’s Department is committed to addressing inmate behavioral health crises. Mental Health Hotline numbers have been established to support current inmates housed at the Intake Release Center, Theo Lacy Facility, and Central Men’s and Women’s jails.
