Initial ERRCS Inquiry


Please follow the steps below for Initial ERRCS Inquiry:

  • Step 1
    • Coordinate with local (AHJ) Authority Having Jurisdiction for pre-qualifying requirements of ERRCS building coverage. You can find the local AHJ By City.
    • If ERRCS/BDA is required, proceed to Step 2
  • Step 2
    • Email errcs@ocsheriff.gov the following information:
      • Project Name.
      • Site address.
      • GPS Coordinates of planned construction site. 
      • Project description, size of building, number of floors above and below grade, proposed ERRCS design description.
      • Contractor contact information including name, address, phone and email address for both designer and installation provider.
      • Proposed BDA Model (S/N if available).
      • Proposed mode of operation (Class A or Channelized Class B).
      • Proposed project timeline.
  • Step 3
    • You will receive a Donor Cell Site Assignment in PDF format and a link to SharePoint folder for the new project. 
    • (Please note: Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. are not accepted by OCSD. All files must be shared through SharePoint Portal.)
