Long called “the Farm” for its historic roots in agriculture, the James A. Musick Facility will realize a new legacy with the construction of an 896-bed, state-of-the art facility designed to meet the needs of an evolving jail population.
With a greater emphasis on treatment and rehabilitation, the $256 million project will include direct-supervision housing and contemporary medical and programming facilities.
The new James A. Musick Facility, forecast to open in summer 2023, will be a critical component of Orange County’s public safety infrastructure and an important step in the modernization of our correctional system.
