In-Custody Death - April 13, 2023

On Thursday, April 13, 2023, 37-year-old Brian Schaar from Los Angeles, CA who was housed at the Intake Release Center in Module L died at Orange County Global Medical Center, Santa Ana. On March 3, 2023, 33-year-old Ryan Barnette from Garden Grove, CA who was housed at the Intake Release Center in Holding Cell PM9 died at OC Global Medical Center. At the time, Barnette was awaiting arraignment.
