On December 7, 1985, the Sheriff’s Department was notified around 7 a.m. about a blue nylon bag with a possible body inside located on the side of Jeffrey Road in North Irvine.
A young woman’s body was contorted in the bag. Through fingerprints, it was determined that the woman was Michelle Marie Sagel. Michelle was wearing a light blue shirt and jeans. Additionally, she had a tattoo of a heart on her lower left arm and the cross of life tattooed on her opposite arm.
Michelle also may have been known as Adrian Ann Rossi or Christine Hansen.
Although it seemed as she took her own life, the public disposal of Michelle’s body points to a more nefarious possibility.
Orange County Investigators regard Michelle’s death as a homicide and continue to search for a resolution.
