In December of 2023, deputies were involved in a use of force that resulted in injury to the suspect involved.  The use of force was determined to be within policy.  Language was determined to be outside of policy and was addressed.

In June of 2023, Deputies were involved in a shooting, resulting the death of a suspect.  An independent review by the Orange County District Attorney's office found no evidence of criminal culpability from the deputies.
